Help

Welcome to the ER Financial Help Page, where you can find answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and get guidance on common questions faced by taxpayers.

If you have filed your taxes and are expecting a refund, you can go to the IRS site to track your refund status. You will just need your SSN, filing status, and the refund amount you are expecting.

To make a payment on an amount owed to the IRS, you can go to IRS.gov/Payments to make a one-time payment. Or, you can log on to your IRS account to make payments or apply to a payment plan – you can also use the account to see past tax records, notices and other important information.

To complete your tax file, you should bring identification (ID, Social Security Card) for all people who will be on the file as well as any tax documents for your job during the year (W2, 1099, any expenses related to business, etc.)

To create an account with the IRS, go to IRS.gov and select “Sign In,” then choose “Create an Account.” You will be taken to ID.me, where you will be asked to scan your Driver’s License and your face to verify your identity.

Once you have created the account you will be able to see past tax transcripts, balance due, make payments, and much more.
